Okay here it is, I rescheduled my follow up appointment because I have not done what she asked me to do. Today I start doing what is needed to have a good follow up appointment. She asked me to write down everything I put in my mouth and the times that I do them and what I was feeling when I ate them.
Here is what I have already today.

3tbsp sugar (didn't need this but had it anyway)

2 boiled eggs with 1tbsp mayo light and 1 tsp mustard
1 can french style green beans
1 can corn

1 cup grapes
During all of this the only feeling I had was that I was hungry.

Today is blah
Today is not the best day. I woke up very nauseated and I think it was my metformin pill. I got home late last night and when i took my pill i didn't have much food in my stomach. Wont be doing that again.
Other than that, today is good. I am starting to feel better which is great because I really want to do day 2 of insanity. Waiting a little while to ensure i feel better before doing something so intense.

Oh My Sweat!!!!!!!!!
Today I decided to start an insane workout again! It's called INSANITY! and it is just that. insane! i did it before but I was also 21 pounds lighter. those 21 pounds make a huge difference. I could not do what I was able to do last time but none the less, I got it done!!!!!! it wasn't pretty but if working out is pretty you are not doing it right, right? Here is my first fit test results. I will also be keeping track of them on the tab for workouts.

Thyroid Doctor
Today I went to the doctor to get my thyroid re-checked. I have a few nodules on my thyroid so we did a sonogram and they have not changed. Thank God!!!!
So it was a great day. Now I am on to get some homework done.
Today food so far,
2 boiled eggs
2 pieces of toast
pineapple and cantaloupe
Lunch
lasagna left overs
2 pieces of toast with little vegan butter and garlic salt
Not the best choices but my portion size on the lasagna was very little so I make up for it in the portions.
So it was a great day. Now I am on to get some homework done.

New Favorite Snack
I was sitting here starving, which I need to remember if you eat the right foods you can pretty much eat as much as you want to remain satisfied. Well I made some green beans and corn but it is just so plain, so I added Meyer's Bar-B-Que to it and let me tell you. AWESOMEEEEEEEEEEE.
Beginning to a New Me
Hello, my name is Jennifer. I have been on my weight loss journey for years now. You might think, what has been the problem. Well I am a emotional, social and hungry eater. I eat all the time.
I have a back story but I have listed all those issues keeping me from going forward every time that I restart and have decided I can't look in the past. So, here I am starting a new page here and I am going to only talk about my journey from when I started in Jan 2014.
Over Christmas I went back home to Texas and I gained a lot of weight in two weeks. My husband was deployed so that is what I did to cope. I came home and decided it was time to get some stuff accomplished and weight loss was at the top of the list. After talking with my husband about something he was doing over seas, I decided to look into the 80/20. I probably do more 70/30 but it works for me right now. I wanted to do paleo but I love my cheese (in moderation of course) and grains. Doing paleo to a T meant I had to give up my grains, and dairy and I just knew if I had to do that I would fail quick. So Jan 20, 2014 I started what I like to call my self, an aspiring paleo.
I have always said that i am happy with my weight as long as it does not affect my health, well that is what made this change for me. My health was starting to go bad. Before Christmas I found out I have high blood pressure and was put on medications to have that lowered. After Christmas I found out that I am pre-diabetic. I am sitting on that fine line of could be one or wont be one. I was given the medication Metformin to help keep me from crossing that line, it also has helped me lose the weight I have thus far. I am not perfect. I started diet and relied too much on the pill to help me lose the weight I started noticing that I was slipping off the diet I need to be on. It wasn't horrible because unlike times before I didn't gain any weight back, I just maintained. So here I am today April 9, 2014 deciding today is the day to get 100% back on track.
This blog will be my little diary, food tracker, weight tracker, and share recipes that I love.
